We’ve signed the Armed Forces Covenant – a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated fairly. This allows us to slightly relax our NCD rules for members of the Armed Forces and it’s already in full force.
What does this mean for members of our Armed Forces?
Any member of the Armed Forces who has our insurance won’t suffer any disadvantages because they’re being posted abroad or are returning from a posting.
How does this affect ABC and Highway Insurance?
- No Claim Discount earned whilst on deployment overseas is acceptable, provided that proof is written in English and is less than 3 years old.
- Our administration fee will not be charged if a private car policy needs to be cancelled due to deployment overseas.
What does it mean for you?
You’ll be fully prepared when dealing with queries from members of the Armed Forces.
If you’d like to find out more about the Armed Forces Covenant click here, or feel free to give us a call and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.
We’re proud to be part of this special initiative and ensuring our troops are not penalised as they serve us overseas.
